"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. "

A SPECIAL NOTE ON THE RECENT FEDERAL SHUTDOWN:
Dear Friend,
The recent federal shutdown was one more example of our broken political system. Unfortunately better public policy is trapped in partisan gridlock and grandstanding.
If you would like to be one of the committed group of people willing to transform our broken system please consider taking advantage of one of the following opportunities.
We need your help to get the American Party SC certified in South Carolina in time for the 2014 elections. We must have 10,000 registered voters sign a petition in person. Unfortunately, election commission rules prevent this from being done on-line.
1. Check out the video below by WIS TV news.
2. Volunteer to work at a local college football game to help us gather the 10,000 signatures from registered voters needed to get the party certified. WE NEED YOUR HELP NOW! If you willing to volunteer please call Jim Rex at 803 360-4417.
3. Request that a petition be mailed to your home and circulate it among family and friends then mail it back to us.
4. Send a financial contribution to the following address with check made payable to
American Party SC
PO Box 660
Prosperity SC 29127
Many have sacrificed for our democracy. It is time to fix our broken political system with a new independent third-party – the American Party – and elect ethical, accountable, commonsense problem-solving leaders to replace career politicians.
